Committee Duties

• Review each preliminary application in order to make a determination as to whether the proposed project is technically feasible and is the most cost-effective alternative as compared with alternatives which achieve substantially the same public health or economic development; and
  
  
• Develop a comprehensive statewide inventory of sewage treatment systems and assess the current and future needs of such systems and unserved areas of the state.
